swimnorthwest Club Grant Fund  2010 - 2011

In order to widen the opportunity of support to the Region’s swim21 Accredited clubs and those actively working towards swim21 the Club Grant process has been revised and is now based on the Clubs’ own fully costed and prioritised Improvement Plans. On receipt of your Improvement Plan as part of your accreditation or revalidation process, the Regional Panel will be able to award grants of up to £500 per club (additional funding may be considered in exceptional circumstances) on a case by case basis relating to the specific needs of individual clubs.

Clubs will automatically be considered for funding by submitting their fully costed and prioritised Improvement Plan. No additional paperwork will be required. Submissions will align with swim21 ReAccreditation or Revalidation dates (for which an Improvement Plan is a specific requirement) and it is recommended that all Plans are endorsed by the local club contact – CSC or Regional s21 Co-ordinator. Clubs that Accredited or Revalidated in June 2010 will be able to resubmit their Improvement Plans with full costings in order to be eligible for funding.

Following the August and November Regional Panel Meeting 8 clubs (4 from each Panel) will be recommended to apply for additional funding (of up to £1000 for Accredited Clubs and up to £500 for clubs working towards Accreditation) to the National British Gas Club Grant Panel.
