ASA North West Region Development Squad NW Development Squad – 25 athletes (aged 10-15 years) from the Trafford, Stockport Metro and City of Preston Synchro clubs were selected to attend this squad. Five training days were held on 4th April, 9th & 30th May, 4th July & 5th September 2009 at Grand Central Pools, Stockport. As well as synchro specific training the training days included sessions with experts in speed swimming, dance, nutrition, sports psychology, yoga, street dancing, strength and conditioning and cheerleading. Coaches for the squad were Head Coach: Jo Bean (Trafford), Assistant Coaches Sara Dixon (Stockport Metro) Sarah Clarke (Trafford) and Jessica Fletcher (Trafford).
