ABOUT swimnorthwest

swimnorthwest is one of eight regions of the Amateur Swimming Association (the asa), the national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo, open water, and synchronised swimming in England. The region covers Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside.

 

 swimnorthwest is committed to 3 main strategic objectives:

  • Improving performance
  • Creating better aquatic environment
  •  Increasing participation 

clear:vision REGIONAL STRATEGY 2009-2013 - Over the past 6months swimnorthwest staff have been actively consulting with clubs and key partners to gather views and ideas on the future direction of aquatics in the region. The results of the consultation meetings can be viewed below, and these will be used to formulate a long term vision for the region and detailed action plans of how we can work together to achieve our ambitions.
