2.Finals will be swum in the 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m events for:
Boys in the 15/16 years and 17 years/over age groups and
Girls in the 14/15 years and 16 years/over age groups.
3.The 800m and 1500m events shall be swum as single sex events.
4.Any 19/over boy or 18/over girl finishing in first, second or third place in any event shall be awarded a commemorative medal.
5. Fines for any competitor/team who fails to withdraw and then does not swim have been increased to £20.
6.Changes have been made to the method of determining medallists for:
The 17/18 years age group for boys if there are 6 or more 19 years/over swimmers in a final.
The 16/17 years age group for girls if there are 6 or more 18 years/over swimmers in a final.

Sportsystems meet management software will be used in 2010 for all ASANWR competitions. During 2009, the capability to link Sportsystems to the ASA memberships database and the rankings database via the internet was established. For clubs to submit entries they must download Sportsystems Entry Manager 2.0; this will make the work of preparing entries at a club level easier and less prone to typographical errors. It also facilitates rapid checking and validation of entry times against ranking times. Use the links below to learn more about the new method and to download the necessary files.
