Clarification of Rules for Recreational Teams in the National Age Group Competition

Recreational Teams.
12 & unders, 13/14 and 15/17 teams -Can have up to 50% competitive swimmers in the team but with no more than 3 competitive swimmers (as four swimmers with the correct skill level could enter as a competitive team) -so if its a recreational team with 4 swimmers, 2 can be competitive, 6 swimmers and 3 can be competitive but if 8 swimmers in the team only 3 can be competitive
etc.

19 & Unders - are slightly different. They again can have up to 50% of the team as competitive swimmers (Competitive means any swimmers 12 & under that have skill 2 any 13/14 year old with skill 3 and 15/17year old with skill 4 and 18/19 year olds with skill 5), but within that 50% you can only have a maximum of 3 swimmers with either skill 4 or skill 5 or a mixture of the two.

When there are an uneven number of swimmers, i.e. 5 7 & 9 this 50% should be dropped down, i.e. 2, 3 and 4 competitive swimmers allowed.
